The SteiPEN uses ultraviolet light to destroy the waterborne microbes from all kinds of water. Even from the worst kinds of water this pen will make it clean. You simply flip the lid and place the end of the pen in the water. Turn it on and just wait for the indicator to go green. The end of the pen will glow bright blue when it is killing the microbes to clean the water.
